Prize breakdown TBD.  Event will include Day money for both Days 1 and 2.  Final percentages will be dependent upon final purse total (we estimate 8-10 percent of the net prize pool toward day money).  Because of day money, the prize distribution will be less than that indicated in the current payout schedule displayed under the link above.  The final payouts will be published on the Leaderboard once the event begins.

Please note: Entries earned into the PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP via online qualifiers at HorseTourneys may NOT be cancelled.  Entries MUST be either played.  No exceptions.

The PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP is a TWO-DAY online event that will feature the ALL-OPTIONAL format.  Players will make 15 selections each day from an eligible group of up to 30 races each day.

The PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP is the second-leg of the 2026 HT Champions Series, which includes bonus programs.  For details on the Grand Slam, click here.

This contest carries a net pool of $200,000 GUARANTEED, with NO LIMIT on entries/prizes.  Prizes will expand per demand. 

This is a POOL-STYLE tournament.  Under the Pool-Style format:

-The prize "pool" grows as additional players enter
-The "payout" schedule is determined by the final number of entries participating
-Essentially unlimited prize pools, higher prize upside

This is a REGULAR FORMAT (LIVE) contest. Selections may be edited until post (selections close as second half of field is loading into gate).

Players MAY win multiple prizes in a single contest in this contest.

ENTRIES CLOSE TIME: The closing time for entries is designated once races have been inputted and will be reflected above.

SELECTIONS CLOSE TIME: This is a REGULAR FORMAT (LIVE) contest. Selections may be edited until post (selections close as second half of field is loading into gate).

FORMAT: $2 Win/Place on a single horse. Payout caps of 20-1 to win, 10-1 to place.

NUMBER OF RACES: 30 eligible races each day, 15 max selections (30 selections among 60 races total).  No carryover of selections (15 races must be played each day).

RACES POSTED TIME: Contest races will be posted at this description page between 5:00 and 10:00 p.m. ET approximately 48 hours prior to the start of the contest.

SELECTIONS OPEN TIME: Selections will open for the contest between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. ET approximately 24 hours prior to the start of the contest.
