The Tourney Triple is a special year-long HorseTourneys.com handicapping series that sees the best horseplayers in the country take on three of the year's biggest events - The Flo-Cal Faceoff, Players Championship, and the Spa & Surf Showdown.
Prizes will be awarded to the points leaders at the series' conclusion with bonuses on offer to top finishers, including a $2,000,000 bonus to any player that sweeps the series and $1,000,000 should a player win two of the three series legs.
Leg 1 - January 15-16, Flo-Cal Faceoff
The Flo-Cal Faceoff is a two-day tourney in which contestants make a mythical $2.00 win and place selection on every race of the Gulfstream and Santa Anita cards on both Saturday and Sunday.
In 2021, Alan Levitt won the Flo-Cal Faceoff and earned $206,000 from a total cash pool of $570,000.
Leg 2 - April 9-10, Players Championship
Entering its second year, the Players Championship is a two-day, Saturday-and-Sunday competition requiring entrants to make 15 mythical $2.00 win and place picks each day from among 30 designated races at selected racetracks across the country, including (subject to change) Aqueduct, Gulfstream, Keeneland and Santa Anita.
Last year, Dan Wilde won the event, taking home $213,000 from a total cash pool of $555,000.
Leg 3 - August 2022, Spa & Surf Showdown
After just three years, the Spa & Surf Showdown has already become perhaps the most anticipated online tournament on the calendar. This year's renewal is set for its traditional month of August and will again call on players to make win and place selections on each race of the Saratoga and Del Mar programs on those two days. The 2021 edition saw a record online purse of $644,000, with the winner taking home $248,000.
Randall Miller won the 2021 Spa & Surf Showdown to take home $235,750 from a record $659,005.
Qualifying contests for the 2022 Flo-Cal Faceoff are currently underway at HorseTourneys.com. Head to the site and sort by "Flo-Cal" to check the upcoming schedule of feeders and qualifiers.

Players will receive Tourney Triple points at the conclusion of each leg of the series. The points formula that will award 100 points for a first-place finish, 99 points for second, 98 points for third, down to 1 point for a 100th-place finish.
These points will be tallied together after the conclusion of the 2022 Spa & Surf Showdown and final positions will be sorted based on their aggregate points total.
The overall points leader at the end of the Tourney Triple will receive a $10,000 Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge (BCBC) entry and a National Horseplayers Championship (NHC) entry (or $5,000 in lieu of an NHC seat if the winner is already double-qualified to the NHC).
The person with the second-most points will earn a BCBC entry.
The third-place points finisher will receive an entry to The BIG One at HorseTourneys
$10,000 full entry into the Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge (Bankroll + Entry Fee).
Seat to NTRA National Horseplayers Championship PLUS $500 travel reimbursement and complimentary 4-night hotel stay at NHC venue.
The Tourney Triple series is accompanied by the most lucrative bonus program ever associated with online handicapping contests. A $2 million bonus will be awarded should a player sweep the three Tourney Triple events and a $1 million bonus will be awarded should someone win two of the three series legs.
For the $ 2 Million Prize:
(a) a forty (40) year annuity that pays out $50,000 per year for forty (40) years, OR (b) a lump sum cash settlement of $1,200,000
For the $1 Million Prize:
(a) a forty (40) year annuity that pays out $25,000 per year for forty (40) years, OR (b) a lump sum cash settlement of $600,000.
